Hello and welcome

or

céad míle fáilte

What does that actually mean? Grub's up? That will be a Scottish mother calling out, "Dinner is ready!" And Fae Scoland's Scullery? That means: From Scotland's kitchens.

This book has been languishing in a drawer for many years as a loose-leaf collection, used every now and then to cook something special, until this year I decided to share the delicious dishes with you and write my cookbook.

The result is not just a cookbook, but a cookbook, non-fiction, history, picture book and a book of humor, whereby I made sure to present you with recipes that are not in every cookbook. So I researched, translated and converted and hope that you like it and enjoy it.

So I gathered together everything that I like, where I have already been in Scotland, where I would like to go again and of course what I enjoy eating (and believe me... the scales say that I have cooked and tested every dish).

Let yourself be transported into Scotland's beautiful culinary world, there are so many wonderfully tasty undiscovered delicacies from Scotland's kitchens, because...

it doesn't always have to be Haggis

I hope you have fun trying them out and I would be very happy to receive feedback on whether you liked the dishes.
